The brief
OSRS is a 20-year-old game with a wiki that knows everything and a UX that asks the player to figure it all out alone. RuneBud's job is to meet a player where they are, fresh off Tutorial Island or sweating Chambers of Xeric solos, and tell them, with confidence, what to do next.
Account-aware engine
The platform reads a player's live hiscores and builds an internal model of their account: combat stats, completed quests, gear in bank, GE liquidity. Recommendations are generated against that model, not against a generic level table, so a maxed account and a Lumbridge starter both get plans that actually fit.
Smart training paths
Training routes, quest chains, and mission plans are composed from a graph of prerequisites and rewards. The result reads like advice from the friend everyone wishes they had when they first installed the game: opinionated, ordered, and grounded in what the account can actually do today.
